Founder and workshop leader for Raising Girls, Karol received her Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of California, Davis. Karol advises parents and educators around the U.S. about girls, media, mental health, and parenting.  She is Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Maine, Farmington.
